Larissa Johns
Larissa joins the Balwyn Florist team as our manager, after working in Brisbane, Sydney and elsewhere around Melbourne. She brings five years of experience as a florist, a real flair for design, and a string of floristry awards.
Larissa loves to talk with new and interesting people from around Australia and the world. She likes visiting new places, and as a surprising addition to her many skills, she's a fire twirler!
Klaartje Torfs
Klaartje (KLAA-cha) grew up surrounded by art and flowers, so being a florist comes naturally to her. She joins the team at Balwyn Florist after her travels throughout Europe - we're lucky to have snared her from her Belgium roots.
She loves painting and drawing, nature, and playing sports. Her favourite thing about floristry - apart from getting to be creative! - is putting together both modern and creative style arrangements.
Michele Fountain
Michele runs the accounts and administrative
areas behind the scenes. If you’re a corporate customer
and you set up an account with us, you’ll get to
speak with this elusive team member. She’s new to
the florist industry, but loves dealing with flowers. Her
favourite part of the day is looking through the
choices from the morning market and asking what all the
new flowers are called!
