The Flower of Hope
Did you know that daffodils are the flower of hope, because they're the first flower to bloom in Spring?
Winter is finally over when the daffodils start to bloom, and we're starting to get the weather to match. With the warmer air and the scent of Spring all around, why not bring some Spring into your home with a bouquet of simple cut flowers or a pot of colourful blooms?
And watch out for great displays in store as we start to gear up for the Spring Racing Carnival! (Did you celebrate the Horses' Birthday on August 1 this year? We did!) |

Our mystery romantic.

Are you our mystery proposer?
Late last month, this lovely young gentleman came into our store and asked for a bouquet of 100 long-stem roses.
We asked him what the occasion was, and he told us he was meeting his girlfriend at a restuarant in the city, and he planned to propose.
We sent him off to have a coffee while we put his very special bouquet together - 100 roses takes a while!
We just had to take his picture when he came back, and we're waiting to hear the outcome!
Mystery romantic - did she accept?! Drop in and let us know! |
