Our flowers are personally selected by our senior florist,
fresh from the growers' market. To ensure the highest quality and widest variety, we make sure we always get there first - 3:30am starts are all in a day's
work!
We're also fortunate to have a coolroom onsite to keep your
pre-ordered arrangements fresh. With the best flowers and
the best treatment our expertise offers, you can be sure
that your flowers will last.
There are always things you can do to ensure you get the best possible life from your flowers. We never let a customer leave the store without giving our expert advice on what to do with their flowers, and we want to do no less for our online customers.
-
When you receive cut flowers, always re-cut the stems
before placing them into water. Make sure you add flower food to the water - we send a packet out with every order we fill. This will prolong the flowers' life.
-
Flowers don't like to be left in a draught or in direct
sunlight. They will last longer away from extreme temperatures.
-
When you purchase potted plants from us, we will include a plant care fact sheet with your order.
-
If you have cut violets on display, be aware they have a quirk! African violets absorb water through their flowers as well as their stems, so make sure to dip the heads in water every so often. Giving them a spray with a mister can help as well.

The longest lasting flowers are Australian natives and tropical varieties. Chrysanthemums can also last an extraordinarily long time if you remember to re-cut the stems and change the water every day.
Enjoy your flowers!
